Fantastic restaurant in Cookstown...LOL Cafe

If you are looking to sneak away for an absolutely awesome breakfast, lunch or dinner you have to visit LOL Cafe in Cookstown. I was told about the restaurant from Jenny's grandmother (our Nanabear) who raved about it for a half hour one day...and I see why! Tammy and her staff have not only created a warm friendly trendy environment but her chef is amazing.

I stopped in their on Saturday to have lunch with my niece, who you will see is very happy with her Belgium waffles, and my aunt and uncle. The four of us were extremely satisfied with the service from Tammy and her talented server as well as the delicious food that we ordered. I had one of the best bowls of butternut squash soup I have ever had.

As you can see from the picture I also indulged (which I usually don't) in desert. The carrot cake was so yummy! LOL Cafe serves an all day breakfast and a lunch menu that sounds as good as it tastes. Tammy also mentioned that they do a gourmet Friday night dinner menu and the menu can be found on their Facebook Fan page (lol cafe) on Tuesday for the coming Friday. I can not recommend this restaurant enough and I can not wait to go back!
